It starts around 12pm following the MidWeek Gathering in the church at 11:30am.

Everyone is welcome.

Contact office@belvoirparish.co.uk for info or to get involved.

Next dates are 12th and 26th September.

Big Church Family Gathering

SUNDAY 20 JUNE
We want to create an opportunity for as many people as possible to gather before the summer kicks in.

Regulations dictate that this will have to be outside so it comes with the warning that it is weather dependant.

We’ll share more details about this next week but for now here are some of the plans…chip van…picnic…music…sunshine…bouncy castles…face painting…activities for all ages…an opportunity to see people and catch up.

Sounds good, doesn’t it? Keep the date free.

Xperience! Team 2021

The Belvoir Parish Xperience! Team is an opportunity to experience, learn and get involved in the wider mission and ministry of the church for those aged 16-20 years old (but no limit really).

It starts on Thursday 27 May and runs every week until Thursday 24 June 2021 from 10am to 4pm.

Outline of day

10-12:30 Session 1

12:30 – 1:30 Lunch together (Bring a pack lunch)

1:30 – 4 Session 2

Each session will be led by a member of the Belvoir Parish Team and there will be huge variety in what you can get involved in from gardening, the bike workshop, event planning, lunch bunch, clearing, walking, admin, set up and more.

Fill in this form to register for the team or email paul@belvoirparish.co.uk with any questions.

Prayer Course

We are running the Prayer Course starting this Thursday and running fortnightly on zoom. Whether you are an expert or a novice this course will help us grow and deepen our prayer life. Anyone can join in (or dip in and out).

Email paul@belvoirparish.co.uk for info.

This is a prequel to the course we ran before Easter and some of you may have done it before.

If you can’t make it on Thursdays, you can still watch the videos at prayercourse.org or read the book “How to Pray” by Pete Greig.

New Gathering Pattern

We have a new gathering pattern (blending Virtual and In Person Gatherings) starting this Sunday (11 April).

We will continue to have safety procedures in place, including

  • seating spaced out (with Welcoming Team, recording who is there and guiding you to a seat)
  • masks to be worn (unless you are under 12 or are exempt for medical reasons)
  • spaces kept ventilated
  • hand sanitiser at the entrance (and throughout building)
  • 72 hours between any gatherings in a bubble (church and hall)
  • ensuring all gatherings are less than an hour
  • Not sharing microphones or moving about (readings and other things will be on the screens)
  • Quiet singing or humming (while wearing a mask)

Starting this Sunday each week we will have an opportunity to gather in person and virtually. And we will have two gathering times, 11am and 7pm.

Every week we will be TOGETHER at 11am alternating between being GATHERED and SCATTERED.

On 11 April we will be GATHERED TOGETHER at 11am in the Church Bubble.
And at 7pm we will have SundayNight@Home – our worship, sharing, praying gathering on zoom.

The next week (18th) we will have SCATTERED TOGETHER (Virtual) at 11am and Easter Vestry (In Person) at 7pm in the Church Bubble.

And we will continue to alternate between being GATHERED and SCATTERED at 11am and @Home and @Belvoir at 7pm for the next couple of months.

We will introduce a MidWeek gatherings, kids gatherings and youth gatherings as things develop into this pattern.

For now there will be no creche and sunday club and no tea and coffee at any of the Sunday gatherings until we can work out a safe way to do it.

There are no midweek gatherings this week.

Garden Gathering

This will certainly be an Easter Sunday with a difference.
We want everyone to be able to celebrate with us so there are a variety of ways that you can join the celebrations.
Why not invite your friends and family to explore more about The New Hope that Easter Sunday brings at 9am, 11am, 6pm or 7pm.

We begin with a Garden Gathering at 9am.
While we can’t gather to mingle, we can gather in our cars with windows down and we will have some spaced out seating in the garden as we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus through worship, communion, prayer and teaching.
